The Supreme Court agrees that if you are too lazy to go to the BMV and get a free photo ID, your vote doesn’t have to be counted. Good for them.
Candidates say:
Obama-
“I disagree with the decision, but we’re going to do everything we can in our campaign _ I trust that not only the Democratic party but fair-minded Republicans are going to do whatever they can _ so that people at the state level can exercise the franchise.”
Clinton-
“I have questions about it. Now obviously the law’s the law, and has to be followed, but I hope it doesn’t in any way suppress or deter voter turnout.

I like this: www.angryrenter.com. Although, as someone who will be looking for a new house some time in the next few months, I would like to see that $7000 tax credit that’s been talked about for anyone who buys a foreclosed home.

The Heritage Foundation’s Federal Revenue and Spending Book of Charts has some very interesting and disturbing stuff in it. My favorites:
Maditory Spending/Household since Medicare and Medicaid were introduced in 1965; $12675/Household in 2007 – none in my household.
Tax Rate Change over the last 25 years, by income level. What happened to those tax cuts for the rich?
This is percentage of taxes paid by level of income from the National Taxpayer Union. This breaks it down even further, but the data are old.
